Welcome to Check-IT

Check-IT is a unique web-based solution, that allows automotive parts suppliers to quickly and conveniently produce parts supply quotations.

The easy-to-use interface makes selecting parts, to build a quotation, as simple as 1-2-3. Indeed the majority of the system is numbered, step-by-step, so that you know exactly where you are and what is required to build an accurate parts quotation.

Below you can read a brief description about some of the features of Check-IT or, for further information or to sign up, please contact us.

Check-IT Home Page

FIG 1 shows the Check-IT home page, or menu screen. From this point all functionality begins. The home page is divided into four section:

FIG 1 Section 1 (Quotes):
This area controls producing new parts quotations and recalling existing quotations and orders. Quotes can be converted into orders so that you can keep track of orders you actually received from quotes.

Section 2 (Reports):
This section includes management reports, that allow you to track the quantity and value of quotes, orders, and individual parts. See below for further information on reporting.

Section 3 (Info):
This area provides useful information about your customers and Check-IT in general, such as FAQs (Frequently Asked Questions) and how to contact Motex.

Section 4 (Admin):
The Admin section enables you to: upload documents (such as JPG images or PDF files) and attach them to specific part numbers, making them available to view during part quotations, thereby providing you with tailored key information about the parts when you need it most; upload price updates; changes the Check-IT settings; and control who has access to your Check-IT.

Quoting

FIG 2 FIG 2 shows the Check-IT parts quotation process, which is numbered step-by-step to ensure it is easy to use.

Firstly, you are required to select the franchise from which the quote will be fulfilled. If you run a single franchise, Check-IT will only offer that one franchise.

Second, the vehicle you are quoting part for needs to be selected.

Thirdly, the list of sections for the chosen vehicle is populated. Each time you select a section, the list of parts in step 4 will change to display the parts within the chosen section.

Fourth, you can add parts to the quotation by selecting the quantity, ticking the part, and clicking the add button. Several parts can be added together to save time.

Step 5 shows the parts that you have already added to the parts quotation. Incorrectly added parts can easily be removed by selecting them and clicking the remove button.

And that's all there is to it. Check-IT is as easy as 1-2-3.

After you have created a parts quotation you can save and print it, to be posted, faxed, or emailed to your customer.

Reporting

FIG 3 Motex feel, reporting is one of the most important elements of the Check-IT system.

In FIG 2 an example report has been generated, detailing which parts have been quoted for, and ordered, for an Audi franchise during October 2009.

This 'parts ordered' reporting functionality allows you to track which parts sell more frequently and therefore manage your stock more effectively.

Reports are also available for the quantity and value of both quotes and orders.

All reports can be drilled down by, or a combination of, which franshise (if you run multiple franchises), month, user, and customer. Therefore you can easily see, for example, which of your part quotation personnel are selling the most parts, or which customers are buyer the most from you.

The Check-IT reporting functionality keeps you better information about your business and has proven invaluable to Check-IT subscribers.

Upload Updates

FIG 4 Within the Admin section, there is the ability to upload price and customer updates.

This enables you to transfer your dealer management system's exported price and customer files straight up to your Check-IT system. This avoids the need to re-enter parts prices and customer details, and means that the information your staff are comfortable with is also used to prepare parts quotations.

However, please note that since, potentially, your price and customers files (as exported from your dealer management system) could easily be in a different format to other Check-IT customers, Motex will have to examine these files and write a specific upload routine for you. This code change is covered within the initial setup fee.

* Customer Access is an optional add-on, which allows you to setup login credentials for your customers, so they can login to Check-IT themselves and do their own parts quotations saving your staff time. Of course, Check-IT automatically restricts access for customers, allowing them to see only their own quotes and not quotes for your other customers.
